Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Policy

The 3q29 Foundation is committed to providing a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment for everyone who engages with it in any way. Board members, volunteers, members, partners, staff and program participants should feel respected and valued regardless of gender identity, age, race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, education, or any other bias.

This Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all Foundation employees and consultants, agents, representatives, contractors and contract workers when they act on behalf of the Foundation.

Our very mission requires that we actively seek voices, knowledge, and participation from those with varied backgrounds and lived experiences, including experiences with visible and invisible disabilities.

We will take action to improve diversity, inclusion, and equity in our board and leadership positions and commit to asking the hard questions that challenge commonly accepted notions about what constitutes strong leadership within our organization.

Our Commitments

  • To create an environment where individual differences and contributions are recognized and valued, and where everyone is treated with respect and courtesy 

  • To comply with applicable laws that govern prohibited behavior including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, etc., as well as with all the relevant and applicable laws

  • To impart the importance on all personnel that they have a responsibility to treat others with dignity and respect at all times and are expected to exhibit conduct that reflects inclusion during all Foundation-sponsored and participative events.

We promise to continually investigate underlying assumptions that interfere with our diversity policy. In this way, we can recognize and address inequities in our policies, programs, and services.
