For Family Virtual Meetings

Thank you for your interest in participation with respect to web meetings on topics related to 3q29 syndromes sponsored by the 3q29 Foundation. These meetings may be recorded. We will analyze the information collected from the sessions to better understand the informational needs and research priorities that are most important to the 3q29 community.

The most common risk of participating is loss of privacy.  Any slides or recordings made available after the meeting will not include images, voices or names that could allow identification of individual participants.  You may choose to turn off audio and video feeds or leave the meeting at any time without penalty.  There is also a small risk of stress associated with discussing the challenge associated with having a family member with a 3q29 syndrome, such as a deletion or duplication.

We will only disclose your information when required to do so by law in the case of reporting child abuse or elder abuse, in addition to subpoenas or court orders.
